In a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Comrade Chinonso Okere, and the Secretary, Pastor Ejinkonye Tobechukwu, and made available to journalists in Owerri, the group emphasized its commitment to empowering youths with relevant skills, knowledge, and information needed to foster economic growth and active civic participation.

According to the statement, one of OZOPROF’s primary objectives is to equip youths in Owerri Zone with credible information on available and profitable opportunities that can stimulate local economic development. The forum also seeks to encourage young people to actively participate in governance, politics, and decision-making processes at both the state and national levels.

OZOPROF, the statement noted, serves as a platform for advocacy, mentorship, and leadership development among youths in the zone. Through its programs, the group intends to nurture young leaders, promote entrepreneurship, and support innovation and job creation initiatives across Owerri Zone.

In addition, the forum is committed to promoting quality education and skills acquisition opportunities for young people. It also plans to engage in continuous sensitization campaigns to discourage social vices such as drug abuse, cultism, and other behaviors detrimental to youth progress.
