Diaspora Support Group Congratulates Governor Uzodimma On Emergence As Secretary Of APC Presidential Campaign Council

A diaspora support group, under the aegis of Imo Diaspora Support for Governor Hope Uzodimma, has congratulated His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, CON,GSSR, GSGI, on his emergence as Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council.

The group, which has supported Governor Uzodimma since 2018, described his appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership qualities, political experience, administrative competence and commitment to the progress of the APC.

As Secretary of the Presidential Campaign Council, Governor Uzodimma is expected to take charge of the Presidential Campaign Secretariat, coordinate its activities in accordance with the directives of the President, who serves as Chairman of the Council, and work closely with other key members of the Council to ensure the effective administration and smooth running of the campaign.

In a congratulatory message personally signed by the group’s Coordinator and Convener, Ochiagha Nnanna Okere, and made available to journalists in Owerri from his base in Finland, the group expressed confidence in Governor Uzodimma’s capacity to discharge the responsibilities of his new office effectively.

Okere noted that Governor Uzodimma’s appointment was a reflection of his political maturity, organisational ability and track record of leadership, describing him as a leader who has demonstrated the capacity to deliver on challenging assignments.

The Finland-based conflict management expert said the appointment would further provide Governor Uzodimma with an opportunity to contribute his wealth of experience to the success of the APC’s presidential campaign.

According to the Umuowa, Ngor-Okpala-born administrative scientist, Governor Uzodimma’s new responsibility comes at a crucial period for the party, requiring commitment, strategic coordination, teamwork and effective leadership.

Chief Okere commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, for finding Governor Hope Uzodimma worthy of such a significant responsibility, describing the appointment as an indication of the confidence the President and the APC leadership have in the Imo State Governor.

He expressed optimism that Governor Uzodimma would bring his experience and organisational skills to bear on the assignment and contribute significantly to the success of the party’s campaign.

Chief Okere wished Governor Uzodimma success in his new assignment and expressed confidence that he would discharge his responsibilities diligently, effectively coordinate the Campaign Secretariat and contribute to ensuring victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 presidential election.
