MAJOR SET BACK FOR CHIMA AMADI, APP, AS HENCHMAN AMAJIRIONWU RESIGNS

The Action People’s Party (APP) in Ngor Okpala has been hit with a major resignation as Okenze Blyden Amajirionwu, widely regarded as one of Chima Amadi’s key allies, officially quit the party with immediate effect.

In a resignation letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of APP, in his Ward , and personally signed by him,.

Amajirionwu said the decision came after careful personal consideration. Though his membership was brief, he acknowledged the warm reception and cooperation he received from the party leadership and members during his time in the party.

“I hereby tender my formal resignation as a member of the Action People’s Party (APP), effective immediately,” the letter read. “At this moment, I do not have any political aspiration, but I believe it is proper and honorable to officially withdraw my membership from the party.”

Amajirionwu thanked the party for the opportunity given to him and wished it continued success in its activities.

The resignation came as a big shock to many within the APP structure in Ngor Okpala, given Amajirionwu’s close association with Chima Amadi and his visibility in recent party activities. Political observers say the development could signal cracks within the party’s local structure ahead of the 2027 election cycle.
