Dr. Ikedi Ohakim Joins Governor Hope Uzodimma And APC Leaders In worship At Government House Chapel

The Bring Back Ohakim (BBO) 2027 Organization notes with great delight that yesterday, Sunday, August 24, 2025, former Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, joined the Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, for worship at the Government House Chapel, Owerri.

The service, which also had in attendance the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state and top officials of the Imo State Government, was a refreshing moment of thanksgiving, unity, and renewed purpose in God’s presence.

Dr. Ohakim’s presence at the service is consistent with his long-established philosophy of putting the peace, unity, and stability of Imo State above partisan divides. Since leaving office, he has demonstrated uncommon statesmanship by supporting successive administrations in the state—irrespective of political differences—out of a deep conviction that government is a continuum and that every leader needs support to succeed for the collective good of the people.

By joining Governor Uzodimma in worship, Dr. Ohakim has once again shown his unwavering belief that cooperation among leaders is a sacred duty, and that what ultimately matters is the progress and well-being of Ndi Imo. His presence symbolizes maturity, inclusiveness, and a shared devotion to the advancement of our dear state.

As we step into a new week, the BBO 2027 Organization joins millions of Imolites to pray that God will continue to guide our leaders, bless the efforts of our people, and cause every expectation for good to be fulfilled in due season.
Most importantly, this gesture reinforces the core mission of BBO 2027: to restore a spirit of continuity, equity, and collective responsibility in governance. Dr. Ohakim’s consistent demonstration of leadership beyond politics is a reminder that Imo needs experienced, unifying, and forward-looking leadership to heal divisions and chart a prosperous path for all.
