On March 27, 2021, Dora made the courageous decision to cross the Atlantic Ocean, leaving behind the familiarity of her American home to marry the love of her life in Nigeria. This remarkable act of love and devotion was a testament to the strength of their bond.

As a renowned health worker and lover of God and humanity, Dora’s selflessness and compassion were evident in her decision to marry Maxwell, despite the challenges that lay ahead. Maxwell, a distinguished Chief and Civil Engineer, was equally devoted to their relationship, and together, they embarked on a journey that would test the limits of their love.

For four years, distance remained a significant obstacle, with Dora returning to the United States just days after their wedding, while Maxwell remained in Nigeria. Although Dora made occasional visits, the couple’s time together was fleeting, and the distance between them seemed insurmountable.
