UZODIMMA’S LAST-GASP ATTEMPT TO DECEIVE IMO PEOPLE: A Shameless Display of Desperation Ahead of 2027 Elections.

In a laughable attempt to salvage his battered reputation, Governor Hope Uzodimma has constituted various new boards, in a desperation move that reeks of a governor who knows his time is up and is frantically trying to cling to power beyond constitutional provisions.
But we’re not buying it! Uzodimma’s administration has been a calamitous failure, marked by unbridled corruption, gross incompetence, and a callous disregard for the welfare of Imo people. The recent Ministry of Lands debacle is just the tip of the iceberg.
Uzodimma’s hollow promises of performance and accountability are an insult to our collective intelligence. The boards he has constituted are a joke, with members having no defined job descriptions. It’s clear that these appointments are nothing but a reward for his loyal cronies and a desperate attempt to maintain his grip on power.
Furthermore, Uzodimma’s appointment of a new lands commissioner has sparked controversy. It’s alleged that the commissioner’s primary task is to facilitate the governor’s illegal land acquisition bids, particularly targeting the people of Mbaishii in Ngor Okpala. What’s more disturbing is that the new commissioner hails from the same area, leading many to believe that Uzodimma is using him to exploit his own kinsmen.
This move has been seen as a desperate attempt by Uzodimma to consolidate power and maintain his grip on the state. His administration has been marred by corruption, incompetence, and mismanagement, and it’s clear that these appointments are just another example of his self-serving tactics.
Imo people will not be fooled by this cheap trickery. We demand real change, real accountability, and real leadership. And Uzodimma in the last five years he has held sway in Imo State has not provided it. His time is almost up, and we’re ready to show him the exit door in 2027!.
By God’s grace, Imo people will choose their leader by themselves.
