JUBILATION AS GOVERNOR UZODIMMA COMMISSIONS 18KM MGBIDI-OGUTA ROAD

Governor Hope Uzodimma has commissioned the newly constructed 18km Mgbidi-Oguta road, marking another significant milestone in his administration’s infrastructure development agenda. The road is expected to improve connectivity, boost economic activities, and enhance the quality of life for residents.

Speaking at the commissioning, Governor Uzodimma emphasized that quality road infrastructure is crucial for the state’s industrialization efforts. He highlighted that over 120 roads have been constructed across Imo State under his shared prosperity government.

The governor also referenced the Orashi Energy Free Zone project, which will include a river port in Oguta. He urged the community to protect the project and take ownership, ensuring its long-term sustainability.

“This road was once a nightmare for the people, but today, it stands as a symbol of progress,” Uzodimma said.

The commissioning of the Mgbidi-Oguta road is seen as a significant step in the state’s broader vision to enhance infrastructure and drive industrial growth.
