BBO 2027 Constitues State Executive Committee■Capt Johnson, Eweama, Okere, Oruwari make list

Ahead of the anticipated public declaration of former Governor Ikedi Ohakim to seek reelection as Governor of Imo State, a leading support group under the aegis of Bring Back Ohakim (BBO),2027, has constituted its State Executive Committee (SEC).The SEC is made of loyalists of the former governor across the 27 local government areas of Imo State as well as Imo people residing abroad.
A press statement endorsed by Engr Louis Okereke,Chairman, Board of Trustees and Strategic Leadership Council (SLC) and Capt Bishop Johnson (Rtd),who is the Secretary,SLC and Director General,BBO’27,listed out those who made the list. The release also explained the modalities for the appointment of the Zonal, Local Government Area, and Ward executives of the body.
Among those who made the list are Capt Bishop Johnson(Rtd) – Director General, Chief Kennedy Eweama – Director,Media, Publicity and Communication, Chief (Dr) Ochiagha Nnanna Okere – Director, Inter Party and Special Duties,Barr Ekeledirichukwu Oruwari – Director, Mobilization and Contacts,amongst others.

Subject: Constitution and Provisional Approval of the State Executive Committee (SEC)
The Strategic Leadership Council (SLC) of the Bring Back Ohakim (BBO) 2027 organization hereby announces the ratification and provisional approval of the underlisted members as the State Executive Committee (SEC) of our great organization.
This decision, taken in line with our organizational structure and operational framework, reflects our commitment to equity, zonal balance, competence, and unwavering dedication to the vision and mission of BBO 2027 organization.

- Provisional Status: The SEC list is provisional. The Strategic Leadership Council reserves the right to make further changes at any time based on individual performance, conduct, or emerging circumstances requiring adjustment to strengthen the Committee’s effectiveness.
- Volunteerism: All appointments are strictly on a voluntary basis. No remuneration is attached to any office. Service is for the cause, vision, and future of our beloved Imo State.

Coordinators of various Diaspora communities across the country and around the world will also be included in the State Executive Committee to ensure engagement with Imolites outside the state.
