First Lady Chioma Uzodimma Celebrates Governor Hope Uzodimma, Fathers On Father’s Day

The First Lady of Imo State and Founder of the GoodHope Women Flourish Initiative, Dr. Mrs. Chioma Uzodimma, has paid glowing tribute to her husband, Governor Hope Uzodimma, CON, and fathers across Imo State and beyond as they mark Father’s Day 2026.
In a heartfelt message released on Sunday, Mrs. Uzodimma commended fathers for their unwavering sacrifices, strength, and dedication to family values, describing their role as indispensable to the stability, growth, and development of society.
Addressing Governor Hope Uzodimma and fathers everywhere, the First Lady expressed profound gratitude for the often-unrecognized responsibilities they shoulder in providing leadership, guidance, protection, and support for their families.
“Thank you for your sacrifices, your strength, and for quietly shouldering burdens that often go unacknowledged. Your love shapes our children’s character, your guidance lights their paths, and your presence anchors our families,” she stated.
Mrs. Uzodimma, who also serves as Secretary of the Renewed Hope Initiative and Chairperson of First Ladies Against Cancer, noted that fatherhood remains a noble calling whose influence extends far beyond the home into the wider society. According to her, fathers play a pivotal role in nurturing future generations and instilling values that foster peace, unity, discipline, and sustainable development.
“A father’s role is irreplaceable in the home, in society, and in the lives of those who look up to him. Today, we honour you, celebrate you, and thank you from the depths of our hearts,” she added.
The First Lady further wished all fathers a memorable Father’s Day celebration and prayed for continued strength, wisdom, good health, and divine guidance as they continue to serve their families and communities.
“Happy Father’s Day to my dear husband, Governor Hope Uzodimma, and to all fathers. May God continue to bless and strengthen you as you fulfil your invaluable responsibilities with love, courage, and dedication,” she stated.
