UZODIMMA CELEBRATES ISRAEL’S 78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY, REAFFIRMS COMMITMENT TO STRONGER BILATERAL RELATIONS

The First Lady of Imo State, Her Excellency Barr. Chioma Uzodimma, FIMC, CMC, on the gracious invitation of the Embassy of Israel in Nigeria, joined dignitaries and distinguished guests in commemorating Israel’s 78th Independence Day celebration.

The event, which showcased Israel’s rich cultural heritage, remarkable history, and groundbreaking innovations, served as a testament to the enduring diplomatic and developmental relationship between Israel and Nigeria.

Speaking during the celebration, Dr. Uzodimma acknowledged Israel’s inspiring journey over the past 78 years, describing the nation as a global symbol of resilience, ingenuity, and technological excellence. She noted that Israel’s achievements in key sectors such as agriculture, technology, healthcare, and education continue to provide valuable opportunities for international collaboration and shared growth.

The First Lady further emphasized the importance of strengthening the longstanding partnership between both countries through sustained cooperation and knowledge exchange that will foster economic development and improve the lives of their citizens.

As the celebration concluded, Dr. Uzodimma congratulated the Government and people of Israel on the historic milestone, expressing optimism that the relationship between Nigeria and Israel will continue to flourish in an atmosphere of peace, mutual respect, cooperation, and progress.
