Yesterday at the Government House Chapel, Owerri, my husband, His Excellency Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma, CON, and I joined fellow worshippers and distinguished guests in a solemn Holy Mass commemorating World Communications Day.
It was a deeply reflective moment of faith, prayer and thanksgiving. Through the homily and scriptural readings, we were reminded that even in difficult and uncertain times, God remains our refuge and strength. The message encouraged us to stand firm in faith, trusting always that Christ continually intercedes for His people and leads us toward peace, hope and victory.
The celebration also served as a timely reminder of the power of communication in promoting truth, unity, compassion and understanding within our society. As people of faith and purpose, we are called to use our words and actions to inspire hope and positively impact those around us.
As we step into a new week, may we embrace our responsibilities with renewed dedication, diligence and excellence, seeing every challenge as an opportunity for growth, service and progress.
May God continue to guide, bless and uphold us all.
