Owerri Zone Leaders Commend Governor Uzodimma For Transformative Development

A high-powered delegation of political, business, and community leaders from Owerri Zone has lauded Governor Hope Uzodimma for what they described as his transformative and people-oriented governance that is reshaping the zone and Imo State as a whole.


The delegation, led by eminent leaders including Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon), Chief Sir Henry Njoku (Harritex) Ph.D, Prince Alex Mbata, Sir Macdonald Ebere (Ph.D), Prince Lemmy Akakem, Sir Jude Ejiogu, Amb. Kema Chikwe, Capt. Emma Iheanacho, Prince Marcelenous Nlemigbo, and Okenze S.I Obinna, visited the governor at Government House Owerri to formally register their appreciation for the strides his administration has recorded.
Other prominent stakeholders on the team included Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, Amaugo Ugorji, Jerry Chukwueke, Sir Ambrose Ejiogu, Barr. Tony Umezurike, and CDB Williams. Their united presence underscored the broad-based support Governor Uzodimma currently enjoys across the Owerri Zone.
Speaking during the courtesy call, the leaders commended the governor for his visionary leadership and for delivering projects that directly touch the lives of citizens. They pointed to massive infrastructural upgrades such as ongoing road construction and rehabilitation across the state capital and adjoining communities, expansion of healthcare facilities, and improved access to education as clear evidence of the governor’s commitment to sustainable development.
They further highlighted the administration’s economic empowerment initiatives, including youth and women-focused programs designed to create jobs and stimulate small-scale businesses. According to the delegation, these policies have boosted local commerce and restored hope among young people in the zone.
The leaders also praised Uzodimma’s strides in strengthening security and fostering social harmony, which they noted has created a more conducive environment for investment and community growth.
Reaffirming their loyalty, the delegation pledged their unwavering support and assured the governor of their readiness to continue partnering with his administration to consolidate on the progress made so far. They called on residents of the Owerri Zone to remain steadfast in their support for Governor Uzodimma, stressing that collective unity behind his vision is key to achieving a prosperous and inclusive Imo State.
Governor Uzodimma, in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the leaders for their solidarity and pledged to remain focused on delivering good governance.
