OPEN LETTER TO WILLIE AMADI: STAND DOWN, SIR. YOU DO NOT SPEAK FOR JUSTICE.

A Conscience of Justice in Imo State

Mr. Willie Amadi,

Let me speak plainly and without apology: You have become a mouthpiece of political betrayal—a man using velvet words to launder the bloodstains of history. This stunt you call the Imo Harmony Project (IHP) is not a call for justice; it is a smokescreen for subversion. A grand masquerade of lies, dressed in the borrowed robes of equity.

You, sir, are not a bridge-builder—you are the chief architect of deceit, trying to restore what your political ancestors helped destroy.

Your sudden obsession with equity is an insult to the intelligence of every Imolite who remembers the treachery of 2011. You cannot wave a white flag while clutching a dagger behind your back. You do not speak for harmony. You speak for hegemony. And we will not allow it.

YOU BETRAYED THE COVENANT. NOW YOU DARE TO CLAIM THE INHERITANCE?

Let us cut through the gaslighting.
.

In 2011, Owerri Zone desecrated the altar of equity. The rotational agreement—Orlu (1999–2007), Okigwe (2007–2015), then Owerri—was well established and widely respected. Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, a son of Okigwe, was halfway through his constitutional and moral mandate.

.
But your zone—drunk on political impatience and bloated ambition—colluded with federal actors and enemies of justice to sabotage that arrangement. You weaponized propaganda. You danced on the ruins of a broken promise. You laughed as Okigwe bled.

And now, with bold-faced hypocrisy, you dress up that betrayal as victimhood? Now you want to reclaim a throne you usurped before your turn?

No, Sir. The moral order does not recognize thieves as heirs. Not then. Not now. Not in 2028.

IHP IS A FRAUDULENT ALTAR—AND YOU ARE ITS HIGH PRIEST OF DECEIT

This Imo Harmony Project is not a peace initiative—it is a political fraud. A backdoor entry plan for Owerri Zone, disguised as a reconciliation mission.

You hold church events and parade clergy. You quote Bible verses and give it the trappings of virtue. But beneath that stagecraft is a dirty agenda: to rewrite history, silence the truth, and resurrect a lie.

You want to crown your zone with unearned glory while Okigwe is told to “move on.” We will not move on. We will not forget. We will not surrender.

No amount of incense or incantation can cleanse the sin of 2011 without repentance. You do not unify by covering up injustice—you unify by correcting it.

OWERRI ZONE IS NOT READY, AND YOU KNOW IT

Let us also talk performance. In 2023, Owerri Zone turned out one of the lowest voter numbers in the state. A people unwilling to mobilize even for their own interests now want to take the reins of governance?

On what moral basis? On what record of loyalty to equity? With what political backbone?

If this is the best your zone has to offer—ghost turnouts, empty charters, media noise, and selective amnesia—then your campaign for 2028 is already dead on arrival. Imo people are wiser now. We know a trap when we see one.

STOP HIDING BEHIND GOVERNOR UZODIMMA’S NAME

Governor Hope Uzodimma is not your political insurance policy. He has not anointed your project. He spoke of competence, not complicity. He asked for capacity, not chameleons.

You twist his words to manufacture endorsements. But there is no mandate in manipulation. Your script is clear: hide behind the Governor’s robes while pushing a self-serving ethnic agenda.

It is pathetic. And it will not pass.

Let it be known: If there is to be a restoration of equity, it must begin where it was vandalized—Okigwe Zone. That is justice. That is truth. That is non-negotiable.

YOU HAVE BEEN WEIGHED. YOU HAVE BEEN MEASURED. YOU HAVE BEEN FOUND WANTING.

Mr. Amadi, consider this a political verdict, not just a warning.

Your agenda is unmasked. Your motives are stained. And your credentials to speak on equity are revoked by history.

This is not political rivalry. This is a moral reckoning. We will challenge every false charter, expose every hidden agenda, and confront every revisionist narrative you put forward.

You may own the microphones today. But we own the memory of betrayal. And that memory is power.

DISBAND THIS SHAM BEFORE HISTORY DISBANDS YOU

Withdraw IHP. Apologize to the people of Okigwe Zone. Go to the same churches where you held those fake dedications and confess your zone’s original sin. Only then can we begin to talk about reconciliation—not before.

Until then, you remain what you have become:
A symbol of betrayal.
A servant of a lie.
A stranger to justice.

Stand down, Sir. Imo will not be governed by ghosts of dishonor.

Signed with righteous anger,

Dr. Chinwe Nweke, PhD
