Imo State First Lady Chioma Uzodimma Joins Nigerian Women In Historic Mega Empowerment Rally In Abuja

The spirit of unity, purpose, and transformation came alive at the National Women Mega Empowerment Rally 2026 held on May 5, 2026, at the iconic MKO Abiola Stadium, where thousands of women from across Nigeria gathered with one voice and one vision for national progress.
The rally, themed “One Voice, One Movement, One Choice,” brought together women leaders, advocates, entrepreneurs, and supporters committed to advancing the role of women in nation-building and sustainable development.
Speaking after the event, Imo State First Lady Dr. Chioma Uzodimma fimc, cmc, described the gathering as a defining moment for Nigerian women and a powerful demonstration of collective resolve toward a more inclusive and prosperous future.

Joined Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, alongside millions of women and supporters, in what she described as an inspiring movement dedicated to placing women at the center of national development.
According to her, the rally underscored the growing recognition that empowering women is not merely an aspiration, but a critical requirement for Nigeria’s social and economic advancement.
A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Women’s Charter for National Development, a strategic document outlining key priorities including political inclusion, economic empowerment, social welfare, and greater opportunities for women across all sectors.
The event also featured the symbolic distribution of empowerment tools and resources such as tricycles, power tillers, and sewing machines to beneficiaries, reinforcing the commitment to improving livelihoods and supporting women-led enterprise nationwide.
