JUBILATION AS CHIEF MARCELLINUS AMADI A HUMANITARIAN ICON, CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH WIDOWS AND INDIGENTS

In a remarkable display of generosity and benevolence, Chief Marcellinus Amadi has distributed over 100 bags of rice to widows and indigent members of his Imerienwe community on Christmas Day. This selfless act has become an annual ritual for Chief Amadi, who has been undertaking this initiative for the past Ten years.

As he handed over the bags of rice to the beneficiaries, Chief Amadi emphasized that his actions were purely driven by a sense of humanity and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need.

According to him, during his remarks during the event:
“My dear brothers and sisters, as we gather here today to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am reminded of the importance of showing compassion and empathy towards one another. As we rejoice with our loved ones, let us not forget those who are less fortunate, those who are struggling to make ends meet, and those who have been afflicted by hardship and misfortune.

“As a child of God, I have always believed that our faith is not just about words, but about actions. As the Holy Bible says, ‘Faith without works is dead.’ (James 2:26) Today, I am honored to put my faith into action, as we share in the joy of Christmas with our widows and indigent brothers and sisters.

“I want to assure you that this initiative is not driven by any political motivations or ulterior motives. It is simply a gesture of kindness, a demonstration of our shared humanity, and a reminder that we are all in this together.

“As we celebrate the birth of our Savior, let us remember the values that He taught us: love, compassion, kindness, and generosity. May these values guide us as we interact with one another, and may we always strive to be a source of hope and comfort to those around us.”
