THE NATIONAL YOUTH COUNCIL OF NIGERIA (NYCN), OKIGWE ZONE, UNANIMOUSLY ENDORSES DISTINGUISHED SENATOR PATRICK C. NDUBUEZE FOR SECOND TERM

The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Okigwe Zone — the apex youth body representing the collective voice, aspirations, and interests of the youths across Okigwe Zone — after careful assessment, wide consultations, and a comprehensive engagement with Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze in the month of March, hereby unanimously endorses his continuation in the Senate ahead of tomorrow’s APC Senatorial Primary.
Having critically examined his stewardship and listened firsthand to detailed accounts of his interventions, developmental strides, empowerment programmes, infrastructural support, educational assistance, and people-oriented representation, we are convinced beyond doubt that Distinguished Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze has distinguished himself as a true servant of the people.
His representation has brought unprecedented development to Okigwe Zone, cutting across communities, classes, and political affiliations. For the first time in a long while, the people have witnessed inclusive leadership where the dividends of democracy are not reserved for a selected few, but extended to all and sundry irrespective of status.
The NYCN Okigwe Zone therefore calls on all APC stakeholders, delegates, party faithfuls, and all sons and daughters of Okigwe eligible to participate in the direct primaries to queue solidly behind Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze — a man who came to serve, not because of affluence, godfatherism, or personal ambition, but for the common good and collective progress of Okigwe people.
We say without fear or contradiction that Okigwe Zone does not need politics of imposition, intimidation, or godfatherism. The mistakes of the past must not be repeated. Some individuals who suddenly seek relevance today are part of the very challenges our people continue to battle with, and the youths of Okigwe refuse to allow such setbacks define our future again.
Our Zone deserves a leader who sees every citizen as equal, who opens the doors of opportunity to everyone, and who continues to deliver quality representation with humility, accessibility, and fairness. Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze has shown these qualities beyond reasonable doubt.
We are also aware that as the primaries approach, many may come with money and inducements in an attempt to sway the conscience of the people. But Ndi Okigwe are people of conscience, dignity, and integrity. We have never bowed to money politics, and we believe the delegates and stakeholders will do the needful by standing with competence, character, and proven performance over desperation and godfatherism.
Furthermore, we must consider the strategic advantage before Okigwe Zone at this critical moment. The current Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, who by the special grace of God may emerge as Senate President or occupy an even higher national leadership position in the future, shares a close working relationship and political synergy with our brother, Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze.
Should Distinguished Senator Patrick Ndubueze return to the Senate, Okigwe Zone stands to benefit immensely from the powerful collaboration, understanding, and unity of purpose between both leaders. Such synergy will undoubtedly open greater doors for unprecedented infrastructural development, youth empowerment, employment opportunities, federal presence, and accelerated progress for the entire Okigwe Zone.
This is not the time for experimentation. This is the time to consolidate progress, sustain quality representation, and secure a better future for our people.
The National Youth Council of Nigeria, Okigwe Zone, therefore stands firmly, proudly, and unapologetically behind the continuation of Distinguished Senator Patrick C. Ndubueze in the Nigerian Senate.
To all those participating in tomorrow’s exercise, consider it a done deal.
The reward for hard work is more work. 👏🏿
