Having had the rare privilege of working closely with you over the years, I can state without equivocation that your administration was anchored on integrity, foresight, and an uncommon passion for institutional development. You governed with ideas, courage, and a clear vision of an Imo State that would rise above mediocrity and reclaim its pride of place in the Nigerian federation.
Your contributions to infrastructural renewal, environmental governance, human capital development, and the rebranding of Imo State remain enduring positive reference points in our political history. More importantly, you demonstrated that leadership is not about noise or populism, but about quiet strength, strategic thinking, and decisions taken in the long-term interest of the people.
As Director General of TEAM OHAKIM, and as one who stood with you in advancing the ideals and vision you so passionately articulated for Imo State, I bear personal testimonies to your resilience, consistency, and unwavering belief in the capacity of our people to achieve greatness. You inspired loyalty not by force, but by character; you earned respect not by title but by service.
The conferment of the Grand Service Star of Imo State (GSSI) is, therefore, not merely an award — it is history catching up with truth. It is Imo State saying thank you to a leader who gave his best, stood firm in the face of challenges, and placed the collective interest of the State above personal comfort.
