BBO 2027 Congratulates Former First Lady Of Imo State,

Lady (Barr.) Chioma Priscillia Ohakim Mni, On Her Nomination And Confirmation As Ambassador Of The Federal Republic Of Nigeria

The Bring Back Ohakim (BBO) 2027 Organization has congratulated the former First Lady of Imo State, Lady (Barr.) Chioma Priscillia Ohakim mni, on her nomination, appointment, and subsequent confirmation by the Nigerian Senate as an Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

In a statement issued in Abuja on Friday, 19 December 2025, the Director General of the Bring Back Ohakim (BBO) 2027 Organization, Capt. Bishop C. Johnson (US Army, rtd.), described Lady Ohakim’s appointment as well-deserved, timely, and a proud moment for Imo State and Nigeria.

Capt. Johnson stated that Lady (Barr) Ohakim will not only be a great ambassador of Nigeria but will undoubtedly represent the country with dignity, competence, and distinction anywhere in the world. According to him, her nomination reflects her outstanding credentials, professional depth, and long-standing record of public service.

He noted that as a seasoned legal practitioner, former First Lady, and accomplished administrator, Lady (Barr.) Ohakim possesses the intellectual capacity, diplomatic temperament, and leadership experience required to project Nigeria’s interests positively on the global stage. Her years of engagement in governance, advocacy, and public affairs, he said, make her exceptionally suited for diplomatic responsibility.

Capt. Johnson further described Mrs. Ohakim as a great daughter of Imo State, a committed patriot, and a worthy representative of Nigeria, who has consistently demonstrated integrity, excellence, and dedication in both public and private life.

The BBO 2027 Organization commended His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma, CON, Governor of Imo State, and the First Lady of Imo State, Barr. (Mrs.) Chioma Uzodinma, for nominating Mrs. Ohakim, describing the gesture as a demonstration of fairness, inclusiveness, and recognition of merit.

The organization also expressed profound appreciation to His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, for approving and formalizing the appointment. According to Capt. Johnson, the inclusion of Mrs. Ohakim and other women in the ambassadorial list once again underscores President Tinubu’s commitment to gender inclusion, merit-based appointments, and balanced representation in governance.
