Ideato South Local Government Executive Chairman Recruits Over 100 Casual Staff For the Local Government

The Executive Chairman of Ideato South Local Government, Hon. Okwara Okechukwu ‘Morocco’ has recruited for the local government, over one hundred casual staff.
The screening and documentation exercise of the recruitment process was conducted today, 13th May, 2025 at the council headquarters, Dikenafai.
Hon. Okwara said the recruitment which is basically for junior cadre of staff is to fill up vacant spaces in the interim pending when the local government commission will officially commence the recruitment of permanent staff.
He also noted that the move is also a part of his empowerment initiative for the teeming youths and women of Ideato South. The initiative does not only provide the employed ad-hoc staff with monthly renumeration but will offer them training on civil service thus giving them an edge when the recruitment of permanent staff will commence.
A total of 120 (one hundred and twenty) persons were recruited and will be assigned to different departments such as admin, agric, social development, budget planning research and statistics (BPRS).
