Chief Dr. Cliff Ogbede, an Executive Director at the South East Development Commission, joined the family of Late Nze Pius Ndubuisi Okere in celebrating a major milestone – the 72nd birthday of their Matriarch, Lolo Florence Chijioke Okere. The event, held at the Pino Residence in Umuowa Ngor Okpala, was a grand affair that brought together personalities from various walks of life.

The celebration began with a Thanksgiving mass at St. Thomas Catholic Parish in Umuowa, followed by a reception at the Pino Residence. The occasion was graced by notable figures, including Rt. Hon. Obinna Egu Ph.D, member representing Ngor Okpala State Constituency at the Imo state house of Assembly, and Mazi Ejimofor Opara Ph.D, senior special assistant to the Anambra state governor on New media.

Other distinguished guests included Chief Dr. Ochiagha Victor Nnanna Okere, publisher of the Nigerian Politico Online Newspaper, Chief Sir Emmanuel Okereafor who was the chairman of the occasion, Chief Marcellinus Amadi,Rev. Fr. Dr. Eustice Ugonna Okere. Sir Malachy Onyeukwu . Sir Ezeocha Nze (An Abuja-based journalist), Chief Henry Ekpe (Publisher Trumpeta Newspaper) and numerous Umuowa sons and daughters, both home and abroad.

The event was anchored by Sir Ikemba Conelus Okere, while Dr. Vincent Ugochukwu Nwaugha hosted the toast.

In a show of solidarity, members of the Christ The King College (CKC) Old boys association attended the event in large numbers, lavishing gifts on the celebrant. The presence of Chief Ogbede added significant colour to the occasion, representing the federal government’s interest in the celebration.
