Blyden Amajirionwu Pledges N25 Million Christmas Package for the Less Privileged in Ngor Okpala

In a gesture aimed at supporting the less fortunate in his community, Hon. Blyden Amajirionwu, former Ngor Okpala House of Assembly member, has pledged a N25 million Christmas package for the residents of Ngor Okpala. This initiative is meant to alleviate the challenges posed by Nigeria’s current economic struggles.

In a heartfelt message shared with his constituents, Hon. Amajirionwu expressed his commitment to helping those most affected by rising costs of basic necessities. “Happy Sunday to us. May the blessings of this day be with our various families. The new week will also be of flowing favours that overflow,” he began, before elaborating on his plans for the Christmas package. “I most heartedly once more call our attention to this programme, I and my family have decided to put forward this coming yuletide season. It is one targeted at least to bring smiles to few of our brothers & sisters who may need it. Due to daily rising cost of commodities, it is a package of N25,000,000.”

Amajirionwu announced that a committee tasked with identifying beneficiaries across the Ngor Okpala communities will be inaugurated on November 3, 2024. “The committee that will widely reach out to all the crannies of our communities to fish out the beneficiaries will be inaugurated on 3rd Nov,2024,” he confirmed.

The former assembly member also emphasized that this initiative is entirely non-political and called on his community to set aside political differences to ensure the success of the program. “I most respectfully make a special appeal to all of us. This programme is only focused to touch lives. It is in all ramifications, non-political. I want us for this purpose drop all our revered political linings. Work with the committee to achieve the objective of this programme. Kindly nominate our people who qualify in this category,” he urged, adding, “The Almighty God we serve will increase our own coasts.”

Transportation for the beneficiaries has also been arranged to be at zero cost. “There will be enough buses to transport to & fro the beneficiaries. It has to be a zero cost on them,” he assured.

Acknowledging that not all may agree with his methods or approach, Amajirionwu made a plea for unity and support for the cause. “I know some people will not like me or my style. In some cases they are right in their views. But for this programme, I plead we make it work. It might still not change your opinion of me but pls for the sake of God, help me. Let our people benefit. Let the less privileged celebrate Christmas also,” he appealed.

Hon. Amajirionwu concluded his message by extending his blessings and gratitude to the people of Ngor Okpala. “May the grace & love of the Lord be with us & our beloved ones. Amen. Thank you.”
