The former Interim Management Committee Chairman of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area, Hon. Chief Mayor Obinna Nweke, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Hope Uzodinma on his recent appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation.
In a statement personally signed and released to journalists in Owerri, Chief Nweke described the appointment as both “well-deserved and strategically significant,” noting that it reflects the administration’s commitment to strengthening national politics and deepening Nigeria’s democratic ideals.
According to him, Governor Uzodinma’s new role as Renewed Hope Ambassador places him at the forefront of communicating and championing the core values of the Renewed Hope Agenda across the country. He explained that the role is not merely symbolic, but central to rebuilding trust in governance, restoring public confidence, and mobilising citizens around the Federal Government’s developmental vision.
Nweke added that Governor Uzodinma’s wealth of political experience, exceptional communication skills, and strong grassroots influence—particularly in the South-East—position him as a unifying figure capable of bridging divides and promoting national cohesion.
He further emphasized that the decision to appoint Uzodinma as Director-General for Party Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilisation signals a deliberate political strategy. According to him, President Tinubu’s choice reflects deep confidence in Governor Uzodinma’s leadership capacity and his ability to strengthen the party’s national structure.
Chief Nweke described the Imo State Governor as a dynamic, credible, and bridge-building leader whose involvement will greatly enhance the party’s outreach and organisational efforts.
He concluded by wishing Senator Hope Uzodinma success in his new responsibilities and commending his commitment to national service.
