The Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has been congratulated by the Member representing Ngor Okpala State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Obinna Egu, Ph.D, on his 5th year anniversary in office.
In a statement issued on the occasion, Rt. Hon. Egu praised Governor Uzodimma’s transformative leadership, which he said has been a game-changer in the state. He noted that the Governor’s vision and dedication have raised the bar of governance in Imo State.

According to Rt. Hon. Egu, Governor Uzodimma’s administration has recorded significant achievements in infrastructural development, including the dualization of the Imo Airport Road, installation of night landing facilities at the airport, and the establishment of the Afriexim bank’s quality assurance center in his constituency.
The lawmaker also commended the Governor’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants, including the payment of gratuities to retired civil servants. He praised the Governor’s initiatives in education, such as the “Skill Up Imo” program, which has empowered young people with skills and knowledge.
Rt. Hon. Egu prayed for God’s guidance and strength for Governor Uzodimma as he continues to serve the people of Imo State. He expressed confidence that the Governor’s leadership will continue to inspire hope and confidence in the people.
